Colette Bycinte

A devoted Christian, wife, mother, prayer warrior, author, and social worker. Colette Blaise-Bycinte is currently the community organizer for the Abigail’s Women’s program under The Voice.

She received a Bachelor degree in psychology from Bridgewater State University and a master degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern Nazarene College.

Colette has been working in human services and child welfare for over 10 years. She has been providing support to family and ensured the safety of children. During her time with Department Children and Families, she held several positions. She worked as an ongoing social worker, investigator and she is currently a supervisor. For many years, she worked as substitute teacher, foster parent, family partner, family stabilization team, intensive care coordinator, clinician and social worker.

Colette is passionate about people. She enjoys interceding for her local church, family, friends and she is also an intercessor in The Voice Prayer Room. She loves giving to the community; she has done Walk for Hunger and Walk for Strides for Teen Success among others.

She loves working with children and women. Colette was the leader of the children department in her local church and she also volunteers with Brigade Youth program Brockton. For many years, Colette participated in women ministry training while providing mentoring services to the youth in her community.

Colette is certified in addictions and trauma. In October 2019, She released her first book: Trials Release Our Destiny and Purpose.

She enjoys spending time with her family. Her Haitian culture of great value and her family is a big part of her life and she would not be who she is without her family.

Colette is married to Mario Bycinte and blessed with Jiovanni Bycinte, Jillianna Bycinte and Jadeana Bycinte.
