Comfort Olufunmilayo Sowale is the President of the Abigail’s project. She is a wife, a mother of two wonderful boys, and a Registered Nurse by profession. Comfort has been in the Women’s ministry from the time she was in college where she was the Sisters’ coordinator for the Christian Union Fellowship.

In the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Comfort served in the Mother’s Union and Women’s organization as the coordinator of the women’s ministry in the church. She has a passion for women and children and loves to see women thrive spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. A woman of deep wisdom, a prophetic spirit, a discerning heart, and a generous soul. Comfort is gifted with insight and intuition into the future, with which, she prepares her family and friends always to await God’s promises. With her discerning heart, people around her cannot be deceived or led away into error. As her name is, so is her presence and home, she is beautiful inside out, you will just be comfortable around her as shares and gives without intimidation. Funmi is a private, quiet, and humble woman, you will hardly notice her presence, but she is there, quietly getting things done for God’s glory alone.

Above all, waiting for God’s timing is so easy for Funmi, never in a rush and never under pressure, she is a woman blessed with patience and endurance as she takes her time to painstakingly tend and attend her matters, working at all she does as unto the Lord. Many women have done wonderful things, but you’ve outclassed them all!” Charm can mislead, and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of- GOD.
