FELIX ADEOYE

Felix Adeoye was born to the family of Late Pa Amos & Late Madam Beatrice Adeoye on June 8th, 1976 in a small town called Bamikemo Oja in Ile-Oluji of Ondo State Nigeria. At the age of six, he was taken to his parents home town called Osun-Ekiti in Moba Local Government of Ekiti State to begin his primary education at the age of 6. In the year 1987, Felix was taken by his brother, who is also the eldest son of his father, to live with him in Sagamu in Ogun State. There he completed his primary and secondary education at Local Government School 1 Sabo and Muslim High Sagamu respectively.

Felix gave his life to Christ in the year 1991 but tough persecution from home would not allow him to get stable until the year 1996 when he determined to stay with Jesus no matter what.

Felix has been a good singer from childhood, his father’s house in Osun’s shared boundary with the Church. Each time the choir is having a rehearsal, he would leave whatever he’s doing to go listen to the choir as a child then. Years later in Sagamu, he joined the church choir through his brother’s influence at the age of 13. In the year 1995, he was appointed as the vocal leader and financial secretary of the choir.

In late 1995, Felix and his Friend Soji was taken by Sister Taiwo Awofeko now Mrs. Taiwo Oyeneye to join the Remo Diocesan Evangelical Choir. There he met the Coordinator of the Choir in the person of Bro Kunle Sowale – our president, now Revd Kunle Sowale. Revd Sowale discovered the gift of God in Felix and began exposing him to how to confidently lead God’s people in praise worship at any level. Two of them became so close that Felix succeeded bro Kunle about a year later. As a result, people began referring to them as Elijah/Elisha.

In the year 1997, Felix has commissioned a diocesan Evangelist. He led the Evangelical Choir for 4 years before he got admission to Vining College of Theology in the year 2000 and was ordained Deacon in 2004 and priested in the year 2005.

Felix has been leading Evangelical Choir for the past 20 years and he’s still doing so till today. He has also served as the Youth Chaplain, Financial Secretary, Treasurer meritoriously to various Christian bodies. He is the current youth chaplain of Orogun Archdeaconry Youth, the Secretary to the entire Archdeaconry and the current Coordinator of Ibadan North Diocesan Evangelical Band. He is also the Music director of The Voice Fingerprint Incorporated. All glory to God for the grace to serve.
